The first webinar of the INFRAMA Academy “How to save millions?”

May 28th, 2020 |

Efficient road infrastructure conditions, social and economic development ensuring the mobility of people and goods, their safety and comfort. These are the basic goals set for road managers. Level of their implementation is one of the main criteria for assessing the work of managers. Budget restrictions, especially in the so-called the OpEx group of spendings, with which managers are confronted in their daily work, makes achieving these goals quite a challenge. In order to successfully face this problem, the managerial and engineering knowledge should be combined, at the same time seeking solutions tailored to the needs and capabilities of specific organizations. But what does this look like in practice, on actual examples?

We sincerely encourage you to take part in a webinar, during which one of INFRAMA’s experts, Agata Ciołkosz-Styk, will talk with Wojciech Folejewski, Director of the Roads and Greenery Board in Gdynia (ZDiZ Gdynia), about how the approach to road maintenance in Gdynia changes throughout the year. They are going to discuss the motives of these changes, necessary actions and expectations associated with them, and the impact introduced changes have on other fields of the Management Board’s work. The webinar is not an attempt to find one universal method of dealing with limited resources. It is a case study of rational and informed decision-making, based on data, risk analysis, in the spirit of Asset Management in a specific organization. It will be a great opportunity to learn from someone experienced in the area of Asset Management system.

The webinar is primarily addressed to directors and managers of organizational units from municipal road managements, as well as representatives of provincial and district road managements.
